
Melina joined Trophic in 2025 as an Account Executive after completing her studies in Biomimicry and Management, which she pursued in Germany, Ireland, and Canada. Throughout her education, she developed the ability to bridge science, business, and creative entrepreneurship, driven by her passion for creating meaningful and lasting impact.
She began her journey in biotech and pharma as a working student at Gilead Sciences in Munich, where she supported the Liver department’s sales and marketing team with event planning, marketing materials and exhibition booth design. Melina brings an interdisciplinary mindset and an unconventional, creativity- and innovation-driven approach to problem-solving.
In her free time, Melina enjoys staying active through a variety of sports, including boxing, football (the German kind), and Pilates. She also loves discovering new breakfast spots with friends around the world, and volunteers at the non-profit association Engineers Without Borders, where she contributes to development cooperation projects in the global south.
